One's school years are by far amongst one's fondest memories - a schooling experience shared with fellow Muslimahs united by their deen, united by a unique vision, united by the purpose of man's creation made leaving Shifa School all the more harder.

When the first cohort of Shifa School leavers (July 2007) were asked to write a piece entitled 'Looking Back...' here's what they had to say:

'The light of the school shines before me, leaving me astounded...

Such a great experience I have had in this school from entering with nothing but a black heart and leaving with knowledge which will be with me forever. Taking me that step closer to Allah and the Prophet. Oh, how I will never forget what this school has done for me, bringing forth lights and dreams that I would have never imagined.

'Pearls of wisdom are before me...

Unspeakable, is their beauty. Reaching for them: I ?nally get there, Each of them taking me closer to Paradise. Paths unwind before me, Everything is becoming clear. All questions are being answered, Resolving all pain, increasing my love for Muhammad . Love has overtaken me, Sadly it is time for me to leave Ash-Shifa.

'Ash-Shifa is like a precious jewel protected by Allah and the Angels...

It is indeed a cure and it saved me from many corrupting troubles faced by others. At Ash-Shifa we lived and learnt together as one, helping, caring and sharing. Allah being the core of our learning, we learnt of the Prophet his Sunnah and life.
